Robert J Accettola, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr Accettola received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. After completing his medical internship and residency in his home town of Staten Island, New York, he returned to Texas for his fellowship in cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute, St Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas, where he received the “Most Distinguished Fellow” award.

He is board certified in Interventional and Clinical Cardiovascular Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Other memberships include the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention, the American Medical Association, and the Portsmouth Medical Association. He has active privileges at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, Bon Secours Heart Institute, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, The Hospital for Extended Recovery, Sentara Heart Hospital, and shares coverage with Lakeview Cardiology at Sentara Louise OBICI Medical Center.

Dr Accettola merged his Portsmouth-based solo practice with Lakeview Cardiology on January 1, 2008. He has practiced in the Hampton Roads area since 1986, specializing in interventional and clinical cardiology. He is available by appointment for office visits and diagnostic studies at the office which he shares with Dr Leslie Webb located at 3737 High Street, Portsmouth.

Leslie Webb, M.D.

Dr Leslie Webb graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990 and attended Medial School at Wake Forrest, where she received her Doctorate in Medicine in 1996. Dr Webb did her residency and fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Virginia and completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital.

Dr Webb joined Lakeview Cardiology in November of 2007 and practices at the Cardiac Diagnostic and Treatment Center located at 3737 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia. She specializes in interventional cardiology as well as peripheral vascular disease with a particular interest in carotid stenting.
